Media Mind Control… Information Or Strategic Communications
Ok, I’m not trying to be a consipiracy theiorist about giving mind control stories and such. I am trying to bring myself and others around me more awareness of our surroundings.
I just read a story over at MSN titled “New home sales fell by record amounts in 2007″. It was an informative article I just wonder what the motive is.
I wonder why every day the media stresses how bad our economy is. If nothing else it is a self fulfilling prophecy. They fill our brains with what they want us to believe at least to some degree. I wonder how things would look if they “spun” it differently. Maybe people would be spending money and putting it into stocks or companies they like. I don’t know. I’m just tired of the doom and gloom.
Then I read this…
The severe credit crunch that hit in August has made the troubles in housing worse because it has prompted banks and other lenders to tighten their standards, making it harder for prospective buyers to qualify for loans. Also adding to the problems facing prospective sellers is the rising tide of mortgage defaults, which are dumping more homes on an already glutted market.
Do you think this is scaring people into making the entire issue worse or is the scare making it better?
I know we need to be informed but holy smokes, we can’t go a day without seeing doom and gloom from somewhere. Are we all hypnotized into believing exactly what the media tells us or are we willing to break free and do what is right for our own personal economic conditions.
I like to watch how everything in the news is spun. Watch a little more closely and you might find you’ve been in a trance the entire time.
Post out.
