		<description>Yes, there has been some interesting research on subliminal messages and quite a bit of experimental research.  Most seemed to indicate that people were able to recognize it and thus, not be influenced by it.  As you point out, just the repetitive nature of most commercial media is persuasive enough without advertisers really needing to worry about adding subliminal messages.</description>
