Learn Abundance And You
ByIn the following article we will discuss the relatively new creative process known as manifesting. What is manifesting? And can we learn abundance? Manifesting is all about embracing the abundance that life affords each and every one of us. Abundance means getting everything that we possibly can out of life and not settling for things that will help us simply survive or things others expect out of us. While this process does include a number of set techniques, it is also highly adaptable and can be tailored to suit the needs of any individual.
Manifesting is more of a philosophy of life than a set of self-help guidelines. It is about achieving all of one’s dreams and aspirations both personal and professional. Modern times are often confusing and overwhelming and present obstacle to be overcome.
Yes, of course, we must all live in the modern world. We must pay our bills, work hard and follow the rules. But in a society that is becoming ever more fragmented and specialized, everyone is expected to have a place and a special area of expertise. This does not leave much room for dreams.
There is no question that in order to survive we must work and pay our bills. However, the huge advances in technology in recent decades have driven us toward greater and greater specialization. We are becoming a society of small fragments and ‘niches’. We are so focused on minutiae we have lost our ability to dream.
Is it possible to change our thinking?
One of the reasons why modern life is so confusing is because so many of us are focusing on what we need to do rather than what we truly want to do. And if we are not living the life that we desire, we become lost in a cloud of confusion and chaos. We start surviving rather than truly living. Manifestation is a simple tool that may help us extricate ourselves from this confusion.
It may sound simple, but manifestation can help us clarify things; and if there was ever a need for clarification it is in modern times. What exactly is there not to be confused about nowadays? We go to the supermarket and are greeted by a hundred different kinds of cereals. We go to college and are asked to choose between a thousand different majors. We emerge with a degree and are forced to choose between a hundred thousand jobs, professions or careers.
Manifestation can help us see things more clearly. In the maze and confusion of modern life we all could use clarification. After all we spend our days going to grocery stores that offer us hundreds of options. It is not a choice between three kinds of cereals, but hundreds. In college we must not only choose from hundreds of majors, we must choose specialties as well. And when we finally get our degree we find ourselves facing more career choices than our brain can filter through.
It is no wonder that Americans get bogged down and don’t take the time to ask themselves the important questions. They are quickly lured into shifting their focus to making as much money as they can, assuming that everything else will fall in to place in the future. It is sad to say, that many wake up years later to discover that money has not provided the satisfaction that they had envisioned. They feel unfulfilled and empty.
Unfortunately, the more we focus on our failures and lost dreams, the more difficult it is to actually obtain them. Positive thinking and confidence are absolutely necessary in order to manifest our life’s dreams. You must know what you want, but you must also believe you have it within your power to achieve what you want. This is true regardless of whether it involves your professional life or your personal life. The more we focus on our failures, the harder it is to see our dreams clearly and become all we were meant to be.
The process of manifesting is very simple.
*Look at both your personal and professional life. Make up your mind about what it is you want.
*Put your attention on your objective and keep a positive mind-set. Think only of your accomplishments.
*Once you have decided what it is you want, you must act on your goals. You must take the risks necessary to see your dream come true.
Manifesting contains one simple truth: you do not need to be satisfied with what is, because when you believe there is more, you will find that there is more. Thomas Edison once said, Show me a thoroughly satisfied man and I will show you a failure’. He recognized that to fulfill our dreams we had to work hard and stay focused on our objective. He understood that there would always be ups and downs, joy and pain, success and failure, but in the end it was about continuing forward, toward our dreams and aspirations.
